Monday 31 August 2020: ‘Folk on Foot, Front Room Festival 3’ from 2.00pm via Folk on Foot YouTube Channel or Facebook page – direct to your front room. Another amazing virtual folk festival on Bank Holiday Monday. Folk on Foot Festival 3: ‘Together Again’ will re-unite musicians who haven’t been able to play together during the lockdown.  They will film a series of 30 minute sets in spectacular or quirky locations and we’ll put them together into a show lasting over 6 and a half hours. Give your support to musicians who’ve lost their livelihoods during the coronavirus lockdown. The line-up comprises:

14.00: opening; 14.03; 16.35; 17.45; 19.08: the festival ‘House Band’ - Nancy Kerr, Martin Simpson and Andy Cutting; 14.07: Rachel Newton and Lauren MacColl; 14.34: Show of Hands (Steve Knightley and Phil Beer); 15.10: Sam Lee and his band; 15.45: Kris Drever, John McCusker and Phil Cunningham; 16.10: Lady Nade, Kit Hawes and Aaron Catlow; 16.40: Peggy Seeger with her sons Neill and Calum MacColl; 17.12: The Breath (Rioghnach Connolly and Stuart McCallum); 17.50: Johnny Flynn and his band; 18.28: Eliza Carthy and David Delarre; 19.12: Julie Fowlis, Éamon Doorley and Duncan Chisholm; 19.44: Spiers and Boden; 20.20: Karine Polwart, Steven Polwart and Inge Thomson; 20.50: close.

Donate to make it happen: Half the money raised will go to the charity Help Musicians – which supports musicians undergoing financial hardship – and the other half will be divided equally between the artists who take part in the festival. Music is hugely important in lifting our spirits and salving our souls in these troubling times, so please make a donation to support the talented people who create it.
