Ten traditional songs on a collaborative album from two of this country's finest and most engaging folk/acoustic acts: Reg Meuross whose fine voice and great songs have been a constant presence in the folk world for the last thirty years and the duo Harbottle & Jonas. Dave Harbottle and Freya Jonas, partners in life as well as music, live in South Brent and have established themselves as one of the most exciting prospects on the folk circuit today. The album was recorded in South Brent's beautiful St Petroc's Parish Church. Born from a remote collaboration, ‘Songs of Love & Death’ has evolved into a stark yet beautiful album of traditional songs.
